Get Involved at
The Revolution

We are passionate about showing you who Jesus is. Whether it is in our own neighborhood or around the world, we can tangibly express God’s love for people through our ministries, outreach projects and mission trips. Join us as we extend our mission beyond our walls and share the love of Jesus in our local and global community. We want to be strategic about reaching the Johnston County area for Christ.

Worship Ministry

While we recognize worship is more than music, the Worship Ministry at The Revolution seeks to guide people in an encounter with the truth of God through the medium of music.  Our focus as we worship through song each week is to proclaim the truth of the gospel to the lost and encourage the believer in their walk of faith. We utilize a variety of musical styles and instruments to create a pallet of sound for people to praise God.  The team is constantly seeking growth so if you are a musician or vocalist who loves Jesus first and music second, we might just be the place for you!

Childrens Ministry

The Children's Ministry at the Revolution will make you wish you were a kid again, except the part were you have to be in bed by 8 pm, can't pick out your own clothes and are forced to drink milk. Each week we try to bring the bible to life through games, stories, crafts and snacks. This is not baby sitting. It is high energy, fun and full of laughs. Our Children's' Leadership love kids and prepare each week to make an impact in the life of your children. Teaching them the love of God and how we can be imitators of Christ. We have a nursery for toddlers and infants. Classes for children grades Kindergarten - 5th grade.

Missions

The church is called to be the hands and feet of Christ in a very tangible way. The Revolution looks for ways to be involved in missions whenever we can. From local missions to international missions, we want to be intentional in impacting our world.

Youth Ministry

Being a young adult (AKA teenager) is tougher now than perhaps it has ever been!  That is why it is so important to give students an opportunity to encounter the truth of God’s Word in a safe space where they can connect with other youth who are chasing after Jesus and be mentored by adults whose only desire is to see them fully mature and committed to the Kingdom of God.

We pursue this in several different ways and environments the with the first being our Rev’d Up! Youth connect on Wednesday evenings, 7:00 pm at The Revolution. Throughout the year we also connect through different activities and everyone’s favorite, Camp!

In all we do we desire to live out, 1 Timothy 4:12: “Let no man despise thy youth, but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in manner of living, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
